After Théo Gosselin in 2015 and Bálint Pörneczi last year, it's Brice Portolano's turn to give his photographer's interpretation of the Salon de la Photo for the poster of the 2017 edition.

Born in Paris in 1991, Brice Portolano is a French photographer working on the relationship between man and nature through documentary photography and adventures in the wilderness. He studied fine arts at la Sorbonne and photography at les Gobelins in Paris.

His work has been published in numerous publications online and print including GEO Magazine, Le Monde, National Geographic Traveler, The Independent, The Daily Mail UK, STERN, L'OBS, Les Échos, VSD, Phosphore, Fisheye Magazine, Outside Magazine and Les Others. It has also been featured on Lensculture, IGNANT, OAI13, Fubiz, Konbini, L'Œil de la Photographie, Maptia, Il Post, La Repubblica, Business Insider and Finland Today.
